Just Narratives for Multicultural Solidarity 2025\

Race Forward, producer of Facing Race, the largest multiracial racial justice conference in the country, is thrilled to announce the Just Narratives for Multiracial Solidarity 2025. Just Narratives is a multi-day convening of narrative strategists, communicators, creatives, storytellers, racial justice advocates, and movement builders. As the anchor event of the 2025 Cultural Week of Action, Just Narratives represents Race Forward’s commitment to building both the narrative and cultural power needed to advance a just, multiracial democracy.

This year’s conference theme, Bridging Professional Learning and Student Success, continues a path that started several years ago. In 2025, we will again make that explicit connection between educator learning and student success. We know that as educators, we are learners first, and as we continue to grow in our practice, all students will experience great teaching and learning every day.

Facing Race is the nation’s largest multiracial, intergenerational racial justice conference. This biennially, one-of-a-kind space serves as a vital intersection where community organizers, activists, and movement makers converge to build power and strategies to advance racial justice. The conference provides attendees unprecedented access to resources, information, and collaborative opportunities geared towards advancing racial equity for all.

ROOTED in Resistance is more than just a conference—it’s a celebration of Black and Brown independent school educators and leaders who are deeply committed to justice, grounded in the understanding that to thrive is to be fueled by love, joy, community, collective strength, and belonging.

Resistance lives in the harmony of voices lifted in solidarity, in truths spoken with unwavering courage, and in the shared dreaming of freedom, nourished not only by struggle but by the warmth of joy.
